Eastern Partnership Business Forum: Geoeconomic Challenges and Opportunities

The Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova had the honour to participate as part of the delegation of the Republic of Moldova at the Eastern Partnership Business Forum: Geoeconomic Challenges and Opportunities.

The Republic of Moldova was represented at the forum by the representatives of the governing bodies Sergiu GAIBU – Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova, Sergiu GHERCIU – State secretary at Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry, Vitalie TARLEV Economic Council to The Prime Minister of the RM and Tatiana PASCAL Customs Service, and by Moldovan business and sectorial Associations such as FIA, EBA, AmCham, ICT, ACEM, ABSL BPO, Moldova Fruct, Small Wine Producers, and the representatives of the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development and Invest Moldova Agency.

The Forum took place on October 17-18, 2022, Czech Republic, Prague.

The Business Forum offered specific break-out sessions highlighting major areas where economic cooperation could be successfully developed in the upcoming years.

The particular focus of the Forum was directed at the following sectors of cooperation: Energy Transition; Digital Transition; Smart Cities; Smart Agriculture; Investment Screening.

During the forum, ACEM, and also the electronics sector of the Republic of Moldova, was represented by Elena Maevski, Project Coordinator, of the Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova.

The Eastern Partnership Business Forum was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic in cooperation with other partners as an event of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council.

Participation at the event was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Chisinau.
