The Minister of Economy, Mr Sergiu Gaibu, undertook a working visit to the Technical-Scientific Company ”Informbusiness”, and to the Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova (ACEM) at the invitation of the President of the ACEM, Mr Vitalie Eşanu, General Director of ÎTS Informbusiness.

During the meeting, the President of ACEM introduced the activities of the Association and its members. Mr Vitalie Eșanu presented the development prospects of the electronics industry, but also the main challenges that ACEM members are currently facing.

Mr Vitalie Eșanu presented the activity of ÎTS Informbusiness, the innovative projects and the investment plan for the year 2022-2023. One of the most important investment projects is the assembly of electric buses in the Republic of Moldova, including the purpose of exporting to the European Union and the CIS.

By 2023, the company plans to launch mass production of power electronics equipment, which will allow autonomy for electric buses of up to 300-400 km as well as increase the speed of electric buses up to 120 km / h. Testing of this equipment is underway at ÎTS Informbusiness.

Minister of Economy Mr Sergiu Gaibu highly appreciated the innovation and ambitious plans of the local producer. In the next few months of March-April 2022, the presented equipment will be delivered to the MAZ plant in Belarus, where the first 300-400km autonomous bus will be assembled.

The Minister also visited the production and testing laboratories of the equipment designed and produced by ÎTS ”Informbusiness”, and witnessed the real-time testing of a power electronics installation.
