At the beginning of December, in Odessa, Ukraine, the new tram model TR3100 assembled with technical equipment produced by the company “Informbusiness” was launched.
According to the information provided by the Etalon, the salon is spacious enough. There are 34 seats in the cabin, three of which are foldable and two regular seats on the “low” floor in the middle. The rest of the seats are in the “high” part of the cabin. The driver’s cab is equipped with air conditioning.
The control system for the carriage and traction electric motors is Moldovan, from the Technical-Scientific Enterprise ”Informbusiness” in Chisinau.
Information about the operation of the control system is processed by the onboard computer and displayed on the central display of the console in the driver’s cab. All electrical equipment of the tram is made based on the CAN bus, which gives the following advantages: reduction in the number of wires, constant monitoring of the low-voltage network and its components, the places of breakdowns, breaks, short-circuits, and serviceability of consumer connections are displayed.
