Moldova Electronics Association participated at Focus on PCB, in Vicenza, Italy

It was the first time when ACEM, participate at Focus on PCB 2023, which is the only expo oriented to the promotion of production and development of PCB and the electronic industry in Europe.

It was the second time in the history of the event when the trade fair Focus on PCB took place. The first edition was 20 years ago, and this year the trade-fair Focus on PCB allowed PCB users to meet and gain an overview of the Italian producers and assemblers. At the same time, technicians and designers, who are constantly on the lookout for innovative solutions, boosted their expertise thanks to the rich programme of workshops and conferences.

ACEM was a part of the Moldova team together with Invest Moldova, GIZ Moldova, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (CCIM) being present at the trade fair with a country stand and using this opportunity to promote the Republic of Moldova as a location for the electronics industry, including the producer of laminates for PCB in Europe.

On the second day of the event, during the workshop, Elena Maevski, Project Coordinator of the ACEM, made a presentation of the electronics industry of Moldova. Elena M, mentioned that the Republic of Moldova has one o those 4 companies from Europe which produce PCB laminates.

Since 1960, Moldavizolit is the only company in the region which produce PCB laminates, laminates electro-insulation technical application; materials flexible composites on base polymer films; materials Impregnated (prepregs); rolled and moulded tubes and rods, etc.
