Internationalization of Business

The Internationalization of Business, an event dedicated to companies in the electronic sector, took place on September 29, 2022.

The general objectives of this event were to inform about the methods of penetration of an organization on foreign markets and to inform about ODA programs to support businesses in the Republic of Moldova.

The event gathered under the same roof the companies active in the electronic industry, local and international experts, and representatives of national and international organizations. The interactive format of the event ensured an open dialogue between the event participants and highlighted the development prospects of the electronics industry.

Ana Stamati, Specialist of the Investments and Investments Protection Department, within the Invest Moldova Agency, listed the activities aimed at increasing the visibility of the electronic sector in the Republic of Moldova, such as supporting the Association, with a view to participating in international exhibitions and local events.

At the same time, Ms Stamati also mentioned that “the Invest Moldova Agency actively promotes the electronics sector in Moldova, including among the diplomatic missions. Thus, within the Economic Diplomatic Club, the Agency informs future diplomatic attaches about the most current topics in the industry, including organizing informative visits.”

Dr Cornel Coșer, CEO and Founder of Gateway & Partners, presented to the companies in the sector the ways for companies to penetrate foreign markets.

Dr Coșer listed the steps a company should take when they decide to export their products. Also, during the event, he mentioned the projects carried out by Gateway & Partners, the sectoral research and voiced ideas regarding the perspectives of collaboration, including with the companies in the electronic sector.

Diana Blanari, Deputy Head of the Program Implementation Unit, within the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development, presented to the representatives of companies in the electronic industry the support tools for the growth and internationalization of SMEs.

Ms Blanari also informed the companies about the ODA programs and mentioned their advantages.

At the end of the event, representatives of the company Labromed S.R.L., Ermicev Alexandr, Director, and Alexandru Micu, engineer, presented the medical device, designed and manufactured in the Republic of Moldova, for disinfecting the air from pathogenic agents. The device has the ability to disinfect the air by physical methods, including in the presence of people in closed spaces, does not generate ozone and is not allergic. It is designed to operate non-stop 375 days a year.

The event was organized by the Association of Electronics Companies in Moldova in partnership with the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), the Invest Moldova Agency and Gateway & Partners.
