On May 14, as part of the Moldova Electronics Forum 2025, young people passionate about technology, engineering, and innovation will have the opportunity to attend the Career Fair in Engineering and Technology – an event dedicated to launching and developing careers in Moldova’s growing electronics industry.

The fair will bring together national and international companies operating in the local market and seeking graduates and skilled professionals. Participants will have the chance to interact directly with employers, receive on-the-spot personalized feedback, explore job and internship opportunities, and learn about the in-demand skills in a sector undergoing continuous digital transformation.

Young attendees will be able to engage with industry representatives, discover how to access training programs or practical internships, and shape a clear career path in technical fields. The fair will also offer career guidance sessions and networking opportunities with experts and industry leaders. Not only recent graduates, high school and university students are encouraged to attend, but also specialists seeking professional reconversion or new career opportunities in engineering and technology.

The initiative to organize a specialized career fair was first launched in 2017 during the Moldova Automotive Days event, with the goal of promoting local engineering talent and highlighting companies in need of such professionals. This year’s edition aims to bring talented youth closer to companies looking for the next generation of engineering and tech specialists.

In parallel, participants will have access to guided tours at the Technical University of Moldova, according to the event agenda. They will be able to visit the laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport, the Faculty of Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics, the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Microelectronics, as well as FabLab and the National Center for Space Technologies – modern spaces where innovation and research meet professional training.

Also as part of the forum, on May 13–14, the Hackathon on Embedded Systems will take place – a technical competition for students, engineers, and hardware/software developers who want to test their skills in embedded systems. Participants will work in teams to develop functional electronic prototypes using microcontrollers, sensors, wireless communication, and hardware-software integration. The hackathon will offer expert mentorship and prizes for the most innovative solutions.
